On January 2, 2016, Nevada rancher Ammon Bundy and a band of heavily armed, so-called “patriots” took control of the Malheur Wildlife Reserve in Harney County, Oregon. The take-over quickly morphed into a symbolic stand, calling for the return of federal land to “the people,” highlighting issues of land use and the changing tenor of the west. “Harney County” sets out to explore the unfolding of events in 11 original country songs, with music performed by Catch & Release and a host of guest singers. . Suggested Donation: $10. All proceeds will benefit Oregon Wild and the effort to save public lands for the public.
